December 2008 NE1031 Meeting

The December 2008 NE1031 meeting will take place in Raleigh North Carolina beginning at 8 AM on Thursday, December 18th and ending at noon on Friday, December 19th at the Brownstone Hotel.

The room rate is $89 per night plus taxes, with free WiFi all through the hotel including meeting rooms. There is a block of 15 rooms. Please make your room reservations by Nov. 26th to get the preferred room rate.  It is best to make the booking via phone (Toll Free 800-331-7919 or direct line Tel: (919) 828-0811).  The room block name is NE1031 Regional Meeting. For more information please see http://www.brownstonehotel.com. The format will be the same with the meeting from 8 AM to 5 PM on Thursday and 8 AM to noon on Friday (a 2nd meeting for the Maine program will be held that evening in the room).  A light breakfast and lunch will be served in the room, which is covered by registration fees.  We will all go out for on Thursday night.    

 Fly into Raleigh/Durham International Airport (RDU).  Taxi transport is available from the airport and costs $30.  It is a short trip at 9 miles.  However, when your reservations are finalized, please check in with Craig Yencho and Mark Clough as they may be able to pick you up at the airport and transport you to the hotel using departmental vans. For those driving, the address of the hotel is on the website and you can plug those in for directions.
